About isi-sys GmbH

isi-sys is an abbre­vi­a­tion for inter­fer­om­e­try, stro­boscopy and inspec­tion systems. The isi-sys GmbH is a sys­tem inte­gra­tor of dig­i­tal image cor­re­la­tion and devel­op­er of laser-based opti­cal mea­sure­ment solu­tions for full-field non-con­tact NDT, defor­ma­tion and strain mea­sure­ments with inno­v­a­tive solu­tions for dynam­ic applications. 

 

The stan­dard prod­ucts are Shearog­ra­phy- / ESPI‑, Dig­i­tal Image Correlation‑, Videostro­bo­scope- and Piezoshak­er-Sys­tems. Appli­ca­tion fields are strength and vibra­tion analy­sis, mate­r­i­al test­ing, fatigue mon­i­tor­ing and non destruc­tive test­ing. We also offer mea­sure­ment ser­vice for research and development.

 

Our cus­tomers include research insti­tutes espe­cial­ly for mechan­ics, mate­ri­als and NDT as well as indus­tries main­ly in the field of auto­mo­tive and aero­space engi­neer­ing where the tech­nol­o­gy is applied in devel­op­ment (strain mea­sure­ment, defor­ma­tion mea­sure­ment and vibra­tion analy­sis) and pro­duc­tion (non destruc­tive testing). 

 

Tech­nol­o­gy: One of our unique and lead­ing sys­tems is the com­bi­na­tion of dynam­ic load­ing by Piezoshak­er Sys­tem with Shearog­ra­phy for non destruc­tive test­ing espe­cial­ly for in ser­vice mon­i­tor­ing. Our mea­sure­ment sys­tems are based on dig­i­tal image cor­re­la­tion (DIC) and elec­tron­ic speck­le pat­tern inter­fer­om­e­try (ESPI) respec­tive­ly Shearog­ra­phy. Our soft­ware plat­form isi-Stu­dio is used for Shearography/ESPI and Videostro­boscopy. Image cor­re­la­tion is based on VIC 2D/3D in strong coop­er­a­tion with Cor­re­lat­ed Solu­tions INC.

 

His­to­ry: isi-sys was found­ed in 2000 by Dr.-Ing. Peter Mäck­el first as a pri­vate com­pa­ny, lat­er con­vert­ed to GmbH, where he is the Man­ag­ing Direc­tor. We are oper­at­ing world­wide in coop­er­a­tion with local tech­ni­cal rep­re­sen­ta­tives and OEM partners.
