Blue-Hawk-System
NEW in 2025: The Blue-Hawk-System is specifically designed for repeated measurements with fixed field of view and pre-calibration. The FOV can be adjusted by changing the focal length of the lens and by moving the baseline to 4 different positions.
The Blue-Hawk-System is user-friendly and pre-calibrated, allowing measurements to be performed immediately out of the box. Its compact and robust design, featuring a carbon stereo beam, ensures high thermal stability and long-term calibration consistency. The focusable LED (Blue-X-Lite) supports both polarized light and fluorescence techniques. Additionally, the field of view can be easily adjusted by changing the lenses, with an optional modification of the baseline.
Blue-Hawk Cameras
The Blue-Hawk cameras can also be used in combination with the standard VIC-Professional stereo beams for larger field-of-view applications including the benefit of laser-assisted alignment.
The cameras, together with the Fixture-Plate, can be easily removed by sliding them out of the slots on either side of the stereo beam through the end openings. The Fixture-Plate can then be mounted e. g. on the linear stage or directly on the rotation adapter of the VIC-Professional standard stereo setup using the Blue-Hawk ARCA slot adapter.
Blue-Hawk System Package (Large)
Large trolley flight case – consisting of:
- Ready to use Blue-Hawk System, equipped with Schneider-Kreuznach lenses depending on FOV
- Calibration targets (fluorescence or standard) with corresponding filters (fluorescence or polarisation)
- VIC-Gimbal with magnetic and for horizontal arm adapter
- VIC-DAQ unit for triggering and image synchronized analog data recording
- Manfrotto tripod with center column and 3D head, horizontal bar
with linear stage for focus distance adjustment - VDI-2626 target (optional) for traceability of displacement and strain
- Additional lens pairs for extension of the FOV range

- Ready to use Blue-Hawk System, equipped with Schneider-Kreuznach lenses depending on FOV
- Calibration targets (fluorescence or standard) with corresponding filters (fluorescence or polarisation)
