Scheimpflug Principle
The Blue-Falcon cameras allow precise rotation of the focal planes using fine adjustment screws. This enables accurate alignment and overlap of the focal planes of both cameras, ensuring that the object surface remains fully in focus across the entire field of view (FOV). As a result, the system delivers unmatched spatial resolution and measurement accuracy, particularly for small FOVs. This performance is achieved through the combination of the Blue-X-Focus LED and Blue-Falcon camera technology, which applies the Scheimpflug principle—named after its inventor.
