Automated NDT on guide blade rings of a turbojet engine

Here the SE4 Sensor is used in combination with an automatic attached Piezoshaker for dynamic excitation. The SE4 is operated in time average mode during frequency sweeping for detecting local defect resonances of the soldering of the sealing band. The two measurements show prepared defects. Upper: horizontal shearing, time average mode; Below: vertical shearing and stroboscopic mode for phase reconstruction.
