System Setup
The Piezoshaker excitation systems consist of a Piezoshaker, a Piezoamplifier, and a function generator. Optionally, the waves of the Piezoshaker, transmitted to the test object, can be monitored by isi-sys Shearography / ESPI systems. Our Shearography / ESPI systems enable us to monitor full field vibration such as e. g. natural object vibrations. Another application of the Piezoshaker-System is for excitation with acoustic and ultrasonic waves in the field of material processing and manufacturing technology.

Piezoamplifier
The HPDA piezo amplifier series is specially developed for driving isi-sys piezoshakers. With high output power in a lightweight, compact design, it is perfectly suited for mobile and flexible use – for example in portable non-destructive testing (NDT) setups. Its wide bandwidth, supporting excitation frequencies up to 100 kHz, enables highly dynamic and precise excitation.
Alongside the standard version with a single channel and one output, the HPDA series is available in several configurations. Variants with multiple outputs allow you to operate several piezoshakers in parallel, while multi-channel versions provide increased overall output power.
Piezoshaker and Non-Destructive Testing
The Piezoshaker Systems are often used in combination with our Shearography sensors for non-destructive testing.
