Bachelor’s- / Master’s thesis
isi-sys GmbH is a developer of laser-based optical measurement systems and system integrator in the field of digital image correlation in Europe. Applications are full-surface, non-contact, non-destructive testing, as well as deformation and strain measurement of parts and components in industry and science.
Topic: Piezoshakers with vacuum adapters, which are used for vibration excitation for non-destructive testing and vibration measurement, also belong to the products. This resulted in a research project in cooperation with tff (Separating and Joining Manufacturing Processes, University of Kassel) for dynamic excitation by means of Piezoshakers during the welding process. The following pictures show one of the first experimental applications of the Piezoshaker in combination with interferometric measurement technology (left) to visualize the vibrations at the weld seam (right) at the tff.
We are therefore looking for student employees in the field of development and construction from the fields of mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics, or mechanical engineering — especially for the above-mentioned project. The cooperation for this is also possible in the context of the study, bachelor’s, and master’s theses. The working hours can be arranged individually and flexibly. Fair remuneration is a matter of course for us. Our office is located at Wasserweg 8 in 34131 Kassel, Germany (or occasionally within the scope of tests at tff at the University of Kassel).
If you would like to gain more practical experience in development and design and have already gained experience with CAD (especially CREO) in the best case, please contact us by e‑mail or telephone:
