isi-trigger-systems are one of the essential elements for vibration measurement. The stroboscope trigger synchronises a signal to chop the illumination at any trigger phase with adjustable bandwidth to a periodic vibration input signal. The TTL output signal can be connected directly to isi-sys laser diode modules or conventional illumination choper.
Based on PCI-computer board series the isi-trigger system offers computer controlled features for vibration analysis in conjunction with the software *Shearwin* or with other imaging software via separate user interfaces or DLLs.

isi-sys offers devices with digital or anlog/digital trigger-input up to input frequencies of 100kHz and more depending on board series. Periodical analog signal – e. g. online vibration measurement by an accelerometer – requires the analog trigger series. The analog input channels also serve e. g. for force measurements. Multiple analog input and output channels (calibrated) offer facilities for extended customized solutions.

The example (left) shows the measured deformation gradients of a dis-bond (compare NDT with dynamic excitation) vibrating at 20kHz (0-180° vibration phase).
