High speed Videostroboscope at low cost

Recording:

Sequences or single shots can be recorded and stored digitally. The images and video sequences (avi) can be included to presentations e. g. power point.

Obviously, this is helpful for demonstration and documentation.

Quantitative evaluation:

The recorded image includes information e. g. for comparison of different objects or deformation. Image processing tools such as automated edge detection and measurement tools permit quantitative evaluation of vibration amplitudes.

Trigger options / Trigger system:

The system analyses external input signals (e. g. frequency and amplitude) and synchronises a digital or analog output signal with adjustable properties such as phase delay, bandwidth etc. Simple inputs like light barriers or photo electric sensors can be used to gain trigger signals. Analogue data from inductive sensors and accelerometers are optional (up to 100kHz).

Full field 3D deformation and strain analysis:

Combined with stereo image correlation, the videostroboscope turns into a 3D multi axis vibrometer.

The Vibro-Correlation-System not only measures all three axes of deformation or vibration amplitudes simultaneously, but also measures the complete strain tensor on the entire surface. It works on non-planar surfaces and is not affected by large rigid body movements.

Calibration is simple and quick.
