The developed measuring method allows full-field, non-contact determination of strain and deformation of human skin. The method can be applied directly on the test person or patient (in vivo) without the attendance of the skin surface through marks or similar.
A measurement head with integrated strain mechanism allows to bring up and measure defined, reproducible loads (in vivo). This allows quantitative and comparative examinations of the effects of different active ingredients at the skin strain (System features).
