isi-sys is the shortcut for interferometry, stroboscopy and inspection systems. The experience of isi-sys is based on accumulated 30 years of measurement service, design of optical automation systems/devices and applied research projects in the field of mechanical and aerospace engineering. Our customers range from research institutes to industrial clients such as Airbus Deutschland GmbH, ALSTOM Ltd. (Swiss), DaimlerChrysler AG, NASA (USA), Shell (Netherlands) just to name a few.

isi-sys was founded in 2000 as a spin-off of the Institute for machine elements and design (branch of Kassel University) with a highly motivated and qualified team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers. Our team is specialized in understanding your measurement and testing requirements, offering customized solutions whatever your application may be and need.

Apart from individual and customized solutions, isi-sys also provides unique white-light and laser based optical measurement systems for full field non contact NDT, vibration and strain measurements with particularly patented innovative solution for dynamic applications. Operation without need for vibration insulation is possible under industry conditions. The technology is based on image correlation and electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI and Shearography). Our software platform isi-Studio (Shearwin NT) is used for (video-)stroboscopy and interferometry. Image correlation is based on VIC 2D/3D in strong cooperation with Correlated Solutions INC. USA.

Correlated Solutions INC distributes isi-systems under its trade name in North America (USA, Canada, see www.correlatedsolutions.com). Since 2005 our IEEE 1394 based videostroboscope is well on the way into becoming an integral part of the LDS Test and Measurement GmbH (Germany) products lineup.
