In this example, the isi-Vibrografie-System congregates with an extra developed Piezo-Shaker-Modul, to be used for the non-destructive inspection. The leading edge flap with C-Si-C (carbon fiber- silicium composite) of the prospective recovery vehicle/ spacecraft x38 was reviewed.
Picture 1 shows the shaker module, which for an easier handlingis compressed on the surface of the object via suction base .

Picture 2 shows the determination of times of the leading edge flap with the eigenfrequency (1400 Hz). During the inspections two defects have been detected at the upper area of the dog (10.000 - 18.000 Hz), which are demonstrated in picture 3.
