The high sensitivity of the shearography- sensors detects already smallest changes of deformations, e.g. due to the exposure of thermal radiation via lights within a few seconds. The pictures of the here demonstrated carbon fiber beam demonstrates preparated imperfections respectively delaminations in different sizes and depths by means of the local deformations.
