Image 1: Automotive heat shield
The application example shows the 3D vibration- and strain measurement of an automotive heat shield with vibro correlation. Image 1 and the video show the oscillation amplitude W over a period of oscillation superposed with the reference image of the resting state of the object.
The images 2 and 3 show the 3D contour in each case at a time of the maximal oscillation 1 and 2 of the vibration in the marked area of the object. The colour scaling refers to the oscillation (oscillation amplitude W) as in image 1. Image 4 shows the strains in x-direction of the deformation state 2 (image 3) in colour scale. The tips of the tension strains in the bends of the plate are clearly visible and plausible. This came off due to the bending of the right half downwards, as well as the pressure strains purple/blue in the left hutch of the plate as a result of a bending in upward direction.
